Game Rules change mid-game? I'm playing a CK2+ game as the Seljuk Dynasty right now. I have disabled the defensive pacts, as they just decay to slow for me in CK2+. Feb 08, 2019 The benefit of game rules is that they have a nice dedicated UI to manage the options at the start of a game, so there's less modding needed than using decisions. Definition edit Rules are defined in folder common/gamerules/.

Sunset Invasion adds the Aztec Invasion, which will occur no earlier than the 13th century. In the game rules, it can also be set to occur at a random date at least 50 years after the game is started. A new invading threat arrives at a random point in the mid to late game, conquering from the West.
Game Rules Peristeri
The primary one I'm thinking about is the conclave education notifications, where, when you're a count, it might be feasible and even advantageous to micromange the education of every child in your court, but which gets extremely tedious as a king or emporer. The ability to change this rule mid-game would be nice, and changing this rule mid-game would not provide a major advantage. If you're concerned about people cheesing it, you could always make changing game rules break iron/bronzeman games. There are probably a few other game rules in a similar situation, but the conclave education one is the main one I thought would be both useful and not game-breaking.
TL;DR: Let us change our education pop-up game rule mid playthrough.
